The anniversary of Bexley Beaumont on January 2nd always ties into the new year, and as the firm passes it’s fifth anniversary, now is the perfect chance to reflect on the journey so far.
Some of 2024’s biggest achievements were being named Law Firm of the Year at the Modern Law Awards and being recognised as the fastest growing UK law firm outside of the top 100 all whilst staying true to our founding principles of team culture and collaboration.
But the new year is always a chance to start anew, and with 2025 ahead of us, Bexley Beaumont is ready to build on these successes and embrace new opportunities, all built upon our dedication to our goals.
2025 is off to a flying start, welcoming the first new lawyer of the year to the team and being shortlisted for UK Business of the Year at the International Brilliance Awards.
Transcending the legal industry and showcasing the firm’s unique approach to business, not just the law, is something we are particularly proud of, and I look forward to hearing about the results as they filter through from London later this month.
To continue our strong start to the year, I am excited to announce the launch of BBWellbeing, BBConnect, and BBAcquire as our flagship projects for 2025, as well as the continuation of some core projects from 2024, including the development of Bexley Beaumont’s charity, BBFoundation; our commitment to our ESG principles; our internal skills development programme BBElevate and maintaining our selective and tailored approach to recruitment.
BBConnect will provide more opportunities for the talented team of lawyers to meet each other. Formalising some of the methods we utilise currently, while providing new ways for the team to connect is a priority for Bexley Beaumont. Our unofficial motto of “Grow the Team, Keep the Culture” has never been more relevant as we head into 2025.
BBWellbeing will launch later in 2025, prioritising the health and happiness of the Bexley Beaumont team. Aiming to provide a comprehensive programme, we will work to build a team of mental health first aiders at the firm who can provide initial support to those who need it, while utilising our thriving team culture and events calendar to ensure everyone feels supported and valued.
BBAcquire is a new project spearheaded by our marketing team to strategically enhance our already impressive client base. Bexley Beaumont aligns the interests of lawyers and clients by giving the team the freedom to do what they do best, giving the clients the support they require, from lawyers they trust. This effort aligns with our aim to grow sustainably while maintaining the high standards of service we are known for.
Alongside our new projects, consolidating the fantastic work we put in to launching projects in 2024 should be celebrated as we enhance our offering.
Growing our charitable contributions as we grow has always been our goal. In 2025, we plan to further grow the BBFoundation, extending our reach and impact. This includes new fundraising efforts and increased support for causes close to ours and our teams’ hearts.
We will continue with our selective recruitment strategy, ensuring that every new joiner to Bexley Beaumont aligns with the firm's values and culture. At the same time, we are excited to explore new practice areas and strengthen our presence in the capital, reflecting our ambition to evolve, while staying true to our principles.
BBElevate, our internal skills development programme, launched last year has been a great success, and we are committed to embedding it further in 2025. By investing in continuous development, we empower the team to excel and continue to provide excellent client service, whilst expanding their practices.
As we look ahead to another exciting year at Bexley Beaumont, our focus remains clear. Fostering a culture of quality and collaboration, with a focus on the team’s wellbeing. Together, we will continue to build a firm that not only delivers exceptional legal services, but also creates a positive and supportive environment for everyone involved.
