Emily graduated in 2024 from De Montfort University, following the successful completion of a first-class law degree. During her time at University, she spent a year in industry at The Very Group, with experience spanning across both the in-house legal and compliance teams. Aside from her studies, she was a member of the Law Society, held down two part-time jobs, and volunteered at a local solicitor’s firm. This range of opportunities allowed her to experience both large and small claims work, along with in-house and private practice work. She has also attended court a number of times, both in her capacity as a student and on her placement year, and spent a lot of time speaking to clients whilst volunteering.

Recent work at Bexley Beaumont has included bundling and assisting on cases, and Emily looks forward to continuing to grow her legal knowledge. She is also the current ESG ambassador, pushing forward both Bexley Beaumont and BBFoundation’s CSR agendas.

When not at work, Emily can often be found either at the gym or Pilates studio. She is also an avid reader, and keen rugby supporter (although rarely of a winning team).
