Together with new Commercial Real Estate Partner Emily Carey it means that Bexley Beaumont now has 15 partners in London - and 73 in total - despite having launched only five years ago.
Bexley Beaumont's progress has resulted in it being named by as the fastest growing legal firm outside the UK's top 100 practices based on lawyer recruitment.
A study by Codex Edge, a specialist legal market research company, found that Bexley Beaumont's partner ranks had grown by 60 per cent during 2024.
Bexley Beaumont's co-founder and Chief Executive, Karen Bexley, said the two new arrivals provided evidence of the firm's London ambitions and the appeal of its unique operating model.
"The decisions by Ian and Emily to join shows how very experienced and highly thought-of lawyers in London and the South East recognise that what we have established can enable them to develop their practices and provide clients with exceptional service.
"Even though we intend to expand our operations, ours is not simply a story of growth for the sake of it.
"We will continue to welcome talented individuals and give them the support which allows them to do their job, as well as collaborating effectively with colleagues specialising in other legal disciplines.
"We have already seen that giving partners greater control over how and with whom they work, while maintaining a central structure embodying the very best standards associated with traditional firms, really is a recipe for success.
"It is quite distinct from what other firms are able to offer but the interest which has been expressed by other lawyers in London and elsewhere across the country demonstrates that we are very much on the right track."
Ian Brent arrives having amassed more than three decades' experience in corporate law, advising private companies and private equity firms on sales, acquisitions, investments and shareholder agreements.
He is particularly well known for his merger and acquisition work in the recruitment and tech sectors.
Emily Carey has worked both in-house and in private practice in the UK and France on behalf of landlords, multi-national organisations and private landowners.
Over the course of her career, she has handled listings on both Nasdaq and Euronext, software licensing and share options as well as commercial acquisitions and corporate compliance.
Ms Carey is the latest addition to Bexley Beaumont's rapidly expanding Real Estate team.
It now comprises 26 partners specialising in both contentious and non-contentious real estate and has grown by more than one-fifth over the course of the last year.
Bexley Beaumont's achievements have also seen it claim a succession of important legal industry awards - most recently, the Law Firm of the Year Award at the Modern Law Awards in March.
