Amy is a specialist Housing Solicitor and has been acting for both Private and Social Landlords for over 12 years. Prior to joining Bexley Beaumont, Amy was a Legal Director within the Housing Management team at Capsticks LLP.
Amy specialises in advising Registered Providers of Social Housing on strategic and operational aspects of their Housing Management Function. A large part of Amy’s practice involves handling very complex anti-social behaviour cases nationally and finding long-term, pragmatic solutions to the issues impacting significantly upon communities. Amy has delivered notable results for large clients dealing with issues which involve serious organised crime, County Lines and ‘Cuckooing’, exploitation and gang activity.
Amy provides advice on the full range of legal tools and powers available to Landlords, including Injunction Proceedings, Claims for Possession, Committal Proceedings and Applications to Suspend Warrants of Eviction. Amy also provides advice and representation in disrepair proceedings brought against Landlords or as part of a Counter Claim.

This includes the delivery of advanced training packages covering a wide range of subjects such as the Equality Act, the Mental Capacity Act, addressing domestic abuse in social housing, self-litigation and preparation of Notices.
