Toby is a client-focussed Corporate Partner with wide-ranging experience advising clients throughout the corporate lifecycle. He advises businesses and individuals in respect of corporate matters, including:

• acquisitions and disposals of shares and assets;
• fund raising (both via equity and debt);
• demergers and solvent restructuring processes;
• corporate governance (including investment and shareholders' agreements);
• option and incentive schemes (including EMI options); and
• day-to-day company secretarial matters.

Having trained at a large national law firm, Toby is passionate about supporting owner-managers and investors, particularly in the north of England. Toby helped to establish the corporate legal offering of a fast-growing professional services firm, with a particular focus on the realisation, application and protection of wealth for individuals and families.

Toby has experience as both a trusted external advisor and also as a key internal counsel in respect of his previous firm's "buy-and-build" model. As such, he is equally adept at dealing with the interests and concerns of both business owners and managers.
