Sarah has been a solicitor, specialising in civil litigation, for over 15 years and was a partner and head of the housing management team at Forbes Solicitors before joining Bexley Beaumont.
In 2011 she obtained her higher rights of audience which enhanced her trial advocacy skills and gave her the right to represent clients in the High Court.
Her specific area of practice for the last 10 years has been housing litigation, originally representing tenants and then social landlords in relation to all aspects of housing law. Her considerable knowledge and experience of both sides puts Sarah in a unique position to assist landlords with whatever difficulties they may encounter, whether they need help setting up, defending disrepair claims, or recovering possession of their properties.
She is tenacious and pragmatic in her approach, looking for the quickest and most cost-effective ways to assist her clients to achieve the best outcomes possible. She is particularly skilled at untangling and dealing with complex and difficult cases, which often commenced on the wrong footing.
Sarah also offers advocacy services to other law firms and provides training on a wide range of housing related topics such as tenancy fraud, succession, injunctions, abandonment, and the section 21 procedure.
