Boutique law firm Bexley Beaumont has capped a remarkable few months with a hat-trick of plaudits.
One of the UK's most prestigious legal rankings has identified Partner Heather Roberts among the top leading advisors to high net worth individuals.
In addition, the firm has been shortlisted for a brace of national awards as a result of its progress over the last year.
It is among the companies competing in the High Growth Business category of the SME Business Awards and is one of eight finalists vying for the title of Young Company of the Year at the Growing Business Awards.
Chief Executive Karen Bexley said that Mrs Robert's listing was tribute to the calibre of lawyers who Bexley Beaumont had been able to attract.
She added that the recognition underlined how the firm had made rapid strides since its launch just over two years ago.
"It's satisfying to see that we have very quickly become something of a destination for an increasing number of lawyers across the country.
"They have not only seen the quality of individuals who we already have working for us and the quality of clients whom we represent but the way in which we operate as a firm.
"Being able to have genuine control while doing really interesting work with such very talented colleagues is a blend which isn't found in too many other places.
"The recognition which we have received on an individual and a firm-wide basis is also a very welcome validation of our approach and a spur to maintain the high standards which we have all established."
Mrs Roberts, who joined Bexley Beaumont in March, is one of only 10 lawyers from the North West to be named in Chambers and Partners' listing of leading private wealth dispute practitioners.
The Chambers' ranking considers lawyers, banks, accountants and wealth managers "considered to be among the world’s top service providers to ultra-high net worth and high net worth individuals and families".
The index named Mrs Roberts as an "Up and Coming" specialist, who is a "pragmatic and efficient lawyer" with "an excellent knowledge of law".
It coincides with Bexley Beaumont's being shortlisted in the Growing Business Awards as one of the "first-class companies....who are rejuvenating the UK's economy".
The firm is also among those businesses recognised for their contributions to employment growth in the SME National Business Awards.
The development of Bexley Beaumont - which works clients in a variety of sectors, including retail, leisure and hospitality, pharmaceuticals, logistics, real estate and the public sector - has caught the eye of judges in a string of other competitions.
In March, it was chosen ahead of larger and longer-established national rivals in the Business Growth category of the Modern Law Awards.
It was also named Start-up Of The Year at the Business Masters Awards and shortlisted for in both the Boutique Law Firm of the Year category at last year's British Legal Awards and at The Law Society Excellence in Law Awards.
Together with co-founder Anna Beaumont - the former Chief Executive of gunnercooke llp - Ms Bexley was one of Bexley Beaumont's only lawyers when the firm opened its doors in January 2020.
The firm now boasts 34 lawyers and, in addition to its offices in the City of London, maintains premises in the heart of Manchester's business district.
